RSF & Associates in 2012

With the New Year well underway, the team at RSF is more than ready to bid our final farewell to 2011.  If we had ever underestimated the changes that a year could bring, we would never do so again. As with all those in Christchurch, the 2011 year presented us with many challenges.  We moved from our Cambridge Terrace location in June and have since set up shop in a few different locations.  Fortunately, we have had many friends and colleagues throughout the Christchurch medical community assist us with finding work space for our clinical and administrative teams.  At present, our administrative staff is based within the offices of Insight@LFT, 50 Roydvale Rd, Burnside CHCH.  Many thanks to Insight for providing our admin team with a lovely working environment.

Our doctors are seeing patients from a variety of locations including Pegasus 24 Hr Surgery, Ferrymead Medical Centre, Dr Malcolm McKellar Ltd, and the AirNZ Medical Unit.

Rumball Souter Floyd (RSF) and Associates is a group of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Specialists (also known as Occupational Physicians) based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Occupational and Environmental Medicine is a medical specialty overseen by the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM), which is a part of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).  Specialising in Occupational Medicine requires completion of a specialist training program following an undergraduate medical degree.

The founding partners in RSF and Associates are Drs Tim Rumball, Sara Souter, and Mark Floyd. Together we provide Occupational Medical Services to a broad range of clients, including individuals, companies of all sizes, insurance providers, and government departments. This includes general “fitness for work assessments” and “dual assessments” with both an Occupational Physician and Psychiatrist for employees with mental health issues affecting them at work. We aim to provide a high-quality, professional service and welcome queries regarding this. We have provided these integrated assessments with the help of Consultant Psychiatrist Dr James Foulds who is currently working with the team over at Christchurch Psyche Med 169 Innes Rd, St Albans ph 03 3656 089.

We provide specialist policy development, education/training, implementation and program coordination (including testing) for all aspects of workplace drug and alcohol programs.
